Golf: The McCain Game Plan Revealed

And, speaking of McCain, I heard this somewhere and I couldn't quite believe it. But it's true. He plugs his 'golf gear' on the front page of his web site.  In fact, it's a 'Father's Day McCain Golf Pack'. With this driver, this putter and this eco-friendly buggy, we shall lead the world to the clubhouse of the twenty-first century.

  2. We might be very thankful for a man, where clattering a little ball over and round a field is more important than worry about his legacy. Nothing gives me the heebiegeebies more than a politician interested in anything more that power. That is what has worried me about Obama and Clinton, what worried me about the old Labour party and the later days of the Thatcher party. Where they believe their own bullshit, get the bit between the teeth and off on a bloody crusade they go.
The current Tory chap has a hungry look about him.

  3. Quite right, Vince, Bryan goes on about how he hates ideology, but just one flash of Obama's well-flossed teeth and he turns into John Pilger.
How he can't see the appeal of a man who tried to deck Sir Malcolm Rifkind is beyond me.
If this carries on, I will come up to Stiffkey and give him a good talking to.

  6. nothing like a good walk, spoiled - frankly I'd prefer to be given of those Dad Dancing Drivetime Compilation CDs, Now That's What I Call Dad! Hits of Yesterday, but ideally I'd like my own space for 24hours.
